MDM Data Analyst is primarily responsible for the design, development, and support of a robust MDM platform that matches and consolidates key data subject areas in a manner that is aligned with the company’s strategic visionEssential FunctionsHas hands-on experience with Informatica MDM Hub configurations - Data modeling & Data Mappings (Landing, staging, and Base Objects), Data validation, Match and Merge rulesExtensive knowledge and experience in defining Master Data Management strategies, implementing MDM services and capabilities, Metadata Management, Data Governance, and Data Quality solutionsHas created MDM Batch Jobs & set up Security for applications.Experience with enterprise-level data analysis and integration work and/or providing data-focused systems integration solutions.Developers need to be able to read, analyze and digest what a business wants to accomplish with its data, and design the best possible ETL process around those goalsPlan and lead MDM requirement analysis sessions with business usersCoordinate MDM program activities for the Member and Product data domains.Conduct source system analysis, and data profiling for lifecycle management.Define measurable metrics and the minimal required attributes for each domain or subject area to support a robust and successful deployment of an MDM platform.Work with business users and the QA team with user-acceptance testing and issue resolution.Must be proficient with SQL QueriesNeeds to have greater understanding and experience of Data warehousing, data transformation, and business intelligence.Must be a team player and willing to work under a tight timelineInformatica Cloud MDM experience is preferredEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering,Information Systems or related field or equivalent relevant experience.5-8 years of direct experience in MDM design, development, support, and operations with Informatica MDM tool suite including IICS, IDQ toolsShould have worked on complex reporting scenarios involving Multiple Tables, Loops, Contexts, Prompts, Aggregate Awareness, Derived Tables, Charts, rankings, Percentages etc.Solid Hands-on experience in SQL programming and writing stored procedures, functions, views, and SQL queries is required.Ability to quickly assess data structures and processes to interpret how business data sets relate to each otherStrong desire to learn how things work and to apply that knowledge to problem resolution
