Responsibilities
As a Senior Designer on the Industry Clouds + Solutions team, youll have a strong influence within the studio as we continue to mature and operationalize the design practice. Youll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners - continually advocating for our users and delivering expertly crafted user experiences to market.
Youll have the ownership and autonomy to define the overall product vision and drive design innovation in the core areas of Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare. Youll use your skills as a storyteller to craft compelling experience narratives, build understanding and persuade others to join the cause.

- Bachelors degree in Design (interaction, user experience, HCI, or graphic design), or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of industry experience in UX design
- Customer-obsessed mindset. Use data and insights to look for opportunities to create outstanding user experiences constantly.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional team (PM, Developers, Content Designers, User Research, Data Science, etc.) to deliver top-notch, innovative user experiences
- An unrelenting passion for detailed craftsmanship in all phases of product development and the ability to set high standards for the products quality bar
- Ability to deliver success by providing clarity in moments of ambiguity. Help the team make progress even when communication slows.
- Deliver delightful and data-driven user experience in an agile product development cycle
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present your work to peers and leadership teams
- Fluent in current interaction design tools (Figma, Adobe CC, etc.)
Portfolio:
A portfolio review presentation is required to interview for this role. Your presentation must cover design solution(s), your creative leadership, and the application of a user-centered design process, as well as showcase your skills as a storyteller.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements is required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check. This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
