Responsibilities

As a Data Scientist, you will have the opportunity to:

• Design, implement, and experiment with ML models and data pipelines for a range of domains, including data wrangling, developer tools, end-user programming, and programming education
• Participate in innovative research that integrates various artificial intelligence technologies and delivers features for customer-facing Microsoft products
• Collaborate with and mentor interns and longer-term research fellows

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PHD degree or equivalent experience in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or another data-focused field.
• 6+ years of working experience in machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, or data cleaning/analysis pipelines
• Experience coding in Python, C# or other programming languages

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ML frameworks, such as PyTorch, Tensorflow, scikit-learn, or similar
• Strong communication skills
• Experience collaborating across multi-disciplinary or multi-role teams
