Role:

The Agile Team is a dedicated collection of self-organizing, interdependent, co-located individuals representing different functional roles with all the necessary skills to turn Product Backlog items into a potentially shippable increment within the Sprint.

• The Agile Team ensures all development work and quality testing adheres to design and development standards, guidelines and roadmap defined by the Prepaid Management Services Leadership and Quality Assurance (QA) teams.

Responsibilities:- 

 Take participatory role in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demonstrations and retrospectives.

• Analyse current processes and systems to produce designs that can be scaled and evolved.

• Produces technical design documentation as required and ensures work complies with the architectural roadmap. Identifies and updates existing design documents impacted due to changes

• Can translate a technical design to a working codebase.

• Responsible for the development of readable and maintainable code, and appropriate unit tests.

• Actively seeks to minimize code and simplify architecture.

• Support test and build automation.

• Adheres to the development process and suggests improvements where appropriate.

• Ensures individual and team tasks are performed on-time by communicating and working closely with other members of the team.

• Retains a focus on completion, identifying and resolving issues.

. Support the application CI/CD pipeline for promoting software into higher environments through validation and operational gating, and lead in DevOps automation and best practices.

All About You:

 Good database development experience in (Oracle v10+, PLSQL) including query optimization.

. Experience in Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF).

. Experience in version control frameworks (GIT) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Sonar, Checkmarx, Maven)

. Knowledge on Web-services, based on SOAP / REST, RESTful Design Principles and RESTful APIs (including how to make them secure).

• Hands-on on J2EE compliant servers (e.g. Apache Tomcat, etc.) with infrastructure set-up and upgrades using Chef/Ansible.

• Has good understanding on Software Development Life Cycle and Agile Software development.

. Good analytical and decision making skills.

. Able to work as individual contributor and in a team as and when required in meeting deadlines.

. Good communication skills, both written & verbal to interact with team members, technical operation teams and other relevant stakeholders.

Desirable:

Has good understanding on Mongo DB.

• Experience working with Oracle Queues.

• Understands Spring framework, including Spring Core, Spring Security, Spring-Boot and Spring MVC.

• Hands-on on SDLC support tools (ALM/Jira, Confluence, SharePoint).
