Job Summary

The data analyst role is to support the SQE organization in analyzing the supply chain data, develop new tools/software/application, integration, automation that helps the SQE function to fulfill the organization goals & objectives. The data analyst reports to SQE Manager located in India.

• Core role to support the automation of key tools & systems for the SQE team.
• The tools and digital platform development support a collaborative working environment within the organization and in the Supply Chain Operations.
• Joint work with the GCM Data Analyst team for the cross learning, holistic thinking, overall improvement in the processes.
• Understand Supply Chain Operations and Processes and able to contribute & suggest improvement ideas & methods.

• Strong analytical skill, capable of analyzing and manipulating large amounts of data to support team initiatives.
• Proficiencies in Google Sheets & Tools, Google scripts, Google Sites, MS Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, VBA Macros), Web based portal creation, Application Creation, Cognos/DOMO reporting, Oracle, Agile.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (English).
• Ability to collaborate cross functionally and cross regionally.
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Self-driven and highly motivated.
• Able to work independently on assigned tasks and initiatives and meet set deadlines.
• Ability to work off shifts/work time as required.
  

Ideal Candidate

In addition to the skills listed above, the ideal candidate would have knowledge of the supply chain processes, ability to map, analyze and improve process efficiencies. Basic knowledge about Supplier Quality Engineering and Smartsheet proficiencies.

Education / Experience

• Bachelor’s degree is a minimum, with focus on Supply Chain, Data Analyst in Supplier Quality Management.
• APICS certification in Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) is plus.
• 7 years or more work experience in Data Analyst & Management
• Fluency in English spoken and written required
• Mandarin language skill is a plus
