Your field of responsibility

This role, within the IT delivery team in Platform Engineering Technology Team based in Pune, India, is for implementation of key strategic & regulatory projects in Credit Risk - Exposure Move Analysis & Explain area. This position requires working closely with development and support teams in India and Zurich ensuring the delivery of strategic & regulatory projects in Chief Risk & Compliance Officer (CRCO) IT area. As a BigData Developer (Data Engineer) he or she is responsible for designing and maintaining data processing for EMAX Credit Risk. Ability to work independently, outstanding communication skills, has experience in working on complex and medium to large projects. Having knowledge on Finance Domian, especially credit risk analytics is an added advantage.

Your skills and experience

The candidate is expected to be technically strong in the required skills as listed below & should possess basic risk & finance domain knowledge. As a Tableau dashboard developer, you will use design and development standards, processes, and best-practices. You will partner with data engineers and program managers to deliver advanced BI capabilities to a global customer base.

• Deliver medium to high complexity dashboard projects either individually or as part of a project team.
• Use design prototyping rigor and consultative best-practices with our partners
• Develop solutions using agile principles
• Provide operational production support for the dashboards on Tableau Server
  

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of proven technical experience leading business intelligence or data visualization projects

• A strong data visualization portfolio demonstrating how you design to tackle customer needs
• Experience with visualization software, preferably Tableau, is required
• Knowledge of interactive data visualization best-practices
• Experience leading design discovery meetings with end-users is preferred
• Solid experience of Tableau connectivity with HDFS, Hadoop, Spark, Impala, Oracle, Python, SQL & Complex Queries. Ability to work with huge datasets
• Sound knowledge of Tableau concepts like filters, parameters, sets, actions, date & time functions, data relationship models
• Ability to optimize dashboard performance, load time and extract refresh time
• Ability to perform site admin tasks and strong knowledge of Tableau extracts/hyper refresh, connection types, data sources, schedules, subscriptions, and users’ permissions
• Have a good understanding of data management systems and processes within the ecosystem
• Good experience working with SQL or Tableau Prep. Ability to write custom SQL queries
• Experience with any script language (R/Python) is an advantage
• Experience working in an Agile or fast-paced and dynamic environment is a plus
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, collaborate with geographically dispersed teams
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Credit Risk & Financial products is a plus
