Job Summary

• The innovation team is looking for a Data Analyst with experience working in a technology setting. The Data Analyst will work closely with diverse stakeholder groups and teams to turn data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions.
• It is essential that the Data Analyst can build an understanding of the business at a level of detail that enables them to identify and address critical issues. They will provide data that is accurate and reliable and ensure the information is easily available to users for direct consumption or integration with other systems. This includes working with the wider data team to design and document dashboards, alerts, and reports.
  

Job Duties

• Work in close collaboration with technical and functional teams globally while supporting the data team to meet objectives on time
• Clean and transform large datasets for analysis from multiple sources using tools or technologies at hand (Python / Power BI Query Editor / SQL / Alteryx)
• Be responsible for accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data by taking ownership
• Design & develop engaging, easy-to-interpret reporting dashboards and visualizations in Power BI at daily, weekly, or monthly levels
• Create end-to-end automation (from sourcing data till publishing dashboards) to reduce manual efforts in maintaining the BI solutions (Power BI Servers / SharePoint / PowerApps / Cloud DB)
• Understand the data in business context and respond to ad-hoc requests with quick and accurate insights or dashboards
• Present complex technical solutions in simple language to business users by identifying insights, patterns, meaningful relationships, anomalies, and trends
• Be technology agnostic, open to learn new tools and technologies by taking initiatives according to the business needs
  

Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelors degree; or 3 years and a Masters degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.
• Proficient at creating complex yet visually appealing Power BI dashboards with custom formulae using DAX, Query Editor etc.
• Strong SQL experience in querying large data sets; creating & maintaining views
• Hands-on with Python / Alteryx / R to create data transformation solutions
• Should be highly proficient in Excel, MS Office tools
• Experience working on any cloud technology like Snowflake, Azure, AWS, GCP etc.
• Experience working in Agile Sprint environment a plus
• Knowledge of Git and JIRA is a plus
