Job Summary

We are looking to hire a market research analyst with outstanding organizational and research skills. Candidates are expected to be focused individuals with a strong proficiency in math and sound business acumen. The successful candidate will be able to analyses autonomously qualitative data, trends, strategies, and competition aiming at increasing competitiveness. Top candidates will exhibit critical thinking skills, strong IT skills and a thorough attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research on and analysis of companies, industries, markets and competitors and deliver objective, meaningful insights in a concise, compelling way.
• Distill and provide intelligence to help inform global strategic business decisions surrounding recruiting, talent, labor, workforce development, competitor, and other intelligence as needed.
• Collect data and consolidate information into actionable items, reports, presentations and draft whitepapers for publication.
• Interpret data, formulate reports and make recommendations.
• Compile and analyze statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect it.
• Conduct both secondary and primary market research using both qualitative and quantitative data.
• Aggregate and synthesize vast amounts of qualitative and quantitative data and translate into simple, digestible reports with executive summaries and actionable insights.
• Use online market research and catalogue findings to databases.
• Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties research and implement best practices.
• Create a visual of industry trends and of competitors.
• Ability to effectively operate independently and in a team environment.
• Apply critical thinking to understand a request or hypothesis, identify appropriate data sources and market research methods to answer requests, analyze and communicate results.
• Ability to perform text analytics and derive meaningful insights.
  
  

Essential Skills

• Extensive market research, collect data and consolidate information into actionable items, reports, presentations and draft whitepapers for publication.
• Should have knowledge on quantitative and research skills with exposure to popular secondary research databases
• Search engines, web analytics and business research tools acumen
  
  

Nice To Have Skills

• Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys etc)
• Good expertise in qualitative techniques to analyze survey responses
• Knowledge of Python, R or similar statistical tools, databases and MS Office
  
  

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Marketing or a related field with strong work experience in market intelligence, market research, customer insight, competitive analysis, data analytics, and reporting
