About the job

Minimum qualifications:

·      2 years of experience in a data analysis related field.

·      Experience with R, Python, SQL, Metrics Analysis, Statistical Analysis, and/or Experiment Design.

Preferred qualifications:

·      Masters degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Operations Research, Bioinformatics, Economics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.

·      Experience with statistical software (e.g., R, Python, MATLAB, pandas) and database languages (e.g., SQL).

·      Experience articulating business questions and using mathematical techniques to arrive at an answer using available data.

·      Experience translating analysis results into business recommendations.

About the job

As a Product Analyst, you will provide strategic insights to growth, improve the Google Assistant product, develop goals and methodology to measure different aspects (growth, quality, engagement, etc.) of the product, features, and capabilities of the Google Assistant. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and analysts on a wide range of problems.

Responsibilities

·      Define goals, measurement, and evaluation methodology for Google Assistant-related programs. Work with the Google Assistant leadership, Product, and Engineering teams to define short and long-term success goals for product efforts.

·      Establish methodology for understanding headroom and user value for Google Assistant experiences in products.

·      Develop an understanding of data structures and goals, advocating for changes where needed for product development.

·      Build tools to help scale and support the launch evaluation for Google Assistant products. Build and prototype analysis pipelines for scalable insights.

Make business recommendations with effective presentations of findings at multiple levels of stakeholders through visual displays of quantitative information.
