Minimum qualifications:
· 4 years of experience in data analysis.
· Experience in R, Python, SQL, Metrics Analysis,
Statistical Analysis, or Experiment Design.
Preferred qualifications:
· Masters degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g.,
Statistics, Operations Research, Bioinformatics, Economics, Computational
Biology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering,
Industrial Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
· Experience translating analysis results into
business recommendations.
· Experience with statistical software (e.g., R,
Python, MATLAB, or pandas) and database languages (e.g. SQL).
· Experience articulating business questions and
using mathematical techniques to arrive at an answer using available data.

As a Product
Analyst Lead, you will provide strategic insights to grow and improve the
assistant product, develop metrics and methodology to measure different aspects
(e.g., growth, quality, engagement, etc.) of the product, features, and
capabilities of the Google Assistant. You will collaborate with a
multi-disciplinary team of engineers and analysts on a wide range of problems.
Responsibilities
· Build and prototype analysis pipelines for scalable
insights.
· Develop an understanding of data structures and
goals, advocating for changes where needed for product development.
· Establish methodology for understanding headroom
and user value for assistant experiences.
· Work with the assistant leadership, product, and
engineering teams to define short and long-term success goals for product
efforts.
Define metrics, measurement, and evaluation methodology for assistant-related programs.
