• Develops and documents workflow, systems requirements, system impact analysis, systems design, process analysis using software development methodology to provide efficient, cost-effective solutions as directed.
• Manage and prioritize workload while meeting deliverables and expectations.
• Requirements: Participate in the project initiation process. Understand business process modeling techniques; Develop concept/domain model, process flow, and data flow diagrams; Collect and document business needs, use cases, and requirements. Develop User Requirements Specification.
• Architecture and Design: Good understanding of enterprise architecture and system design principles. Able to contribute to the evaluation of design options including design elements related to UI/UX, System Integration, Data Reporting, etc. based on industry standards and best practices. Develop & document Configuration or Design Specification.
• Understanding of business and IT processes and ability to communicate effectively with both business users and IT.
• 6-10 years of experience in an Information Technology role in the Healthcare Industry
• 5+ Years of experience in the US health care domain and a good understanding of Clinical Coding terms. Possess an understanding of claims data, including ICD-10 & CPT codes, DRGs, etc.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of healthcare experience with SQL, Tableau, or other BI tools.
• Research and recommend areas for improvement of existing documents with the latest technologies and tools.
• Document report processes/logic and actively engage in the department’s documentation efforts to improve the knowledge base of the team.
• Experience or exposure in data analytics and visualization.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the applications of automated information systems and electronic medical record systems (EPIC, Cerner, Meditech, etc..)
• Advanced Excel and Access skills.
• Knowledge of research methods
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Must understand SDLC / Agile Methodology
