At Darwinbox, a Business Analyst works in close association with the leadership team on strategic initiatives. This opportunity is in the Global Strategy and Business Operations (GSBO) team that focuses on launching new markets and expanding the footprint in markets outside India.

The role comes with the excitement and challenges of work that’s entrepreneurial in nature. You can expect a steep learning curve while dealing with a lot of ambiguity and business problems as you build the business from scratch in the new markets.

What kind of work will you do?

âž” The role of GSBO team is to -

● Identify which markets to go to

● Launch in a new market and enable growth from zero to one

âž” The team undertakes initiatives aligned with these key result areas in the new markets

● Revenue/clients addition

● Achieving the product-market-fit

● Speed of closing regional hiring and ensuring high quality of hires

âž” In this role, you will find yourself working on the following on a day-to-day basis -

● Conducting market research and developing a comprehensive viewpoint on a new market from economic, cultural, sales, competitive, product, and people perspective

● Lead small-scale A/B tests and experiments across the key result areas that have a non-linear impact, and can be scaled if successful

● Orchestrate all the business activities and align functional teams to launch a new market and taking it from zero-to-one

● Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that enable teams to make data-driven decisions. Provide analysis and recommendations to the leadership team for accelerating the go-to-market fit, product-market-fit, and building a local team.

● Serve as the connective tissue between regional teams and the teams in HQ. Integrate a new region with the rest of the organization from a people/culture, process, and systems stand-point

● Drive capability building initiatives for the regional teams and enable them to achieve their goals

● Build expertise on global expansion, the new markets and document these learnings for benefit of the rest of the team and organization

➔ A Bachelor’s/undergraduate degree is mandatory.

âž” Freshers or candidates with 1-2 years of work experience in high-growth startups, consulting, or analytics firms can apply. Experience in a enterprise-focused software company will be an added advantage.
