Role: Data Analyst II

Location: New Delhi

You will be responsible for supporting Content Analytics Team by delivering key performance metrics, as well as clearly communicating conclusions drawn from various sets of data for the business. A great opportunity for analyzing a robust Content Operations data underlying multiple Chegg products including Study, Textbook Solutions, Q n A.

You will be collaborating across function teams including Product Managers, Managers to deliver insights for better decision making.

Responsibilities

Candidate must have Strong SQL query writing skills. (Practical knowledge of Joins, Nested queries, functions, optimization, indexing etc) Should have excellent problem-solving skills, able to understand different scenarios and provide best solution to problems. Ability to understand complex schema and logical structure of database through ER diagrams. Must have knowledge of Reporting tools (like tableau, Domo and SSRS etc to build automated reporting in day-to-day work). Responsible for creating monitoring reports and dashboards within defined TATs. Well versed with programming and should have data manipulation skills in python, R etc. he should be able to transform data into different formats as per the need. Can provide insights and make strategic business recommendations through presentations, reports, and analyses on daily basis. Can analyze different type of data related to various product launches A/B tests and suggest changes wherever required. Good to have knowledge about machine learning. Data bricks and ETLs techniques knowledge. Supports innovative analytical thinking & solutions that results into improved business performance Interpret data, analyze results, finding meaningful patterns using analytics and research. Enable effective decision making by retrieving and compiling data in digestible format from multiple sources. Able to create configurable data models in excel, python or R

Requirements

• BS/MS in Preferred fields: Science, Math, Engineering
• 2-3 years of relevant experience as Data analyst only.
• Excellent SQL skills required.
• Practical knowledge of Joins, Nested queries, functions, optimization, indexing etc
• Should be aware about SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of Python or R
• Can perform Data mining, cleansing, and manipulating in automated manner.
• Advance Microsoft office (strong in Excel)
• Able to create small configurable models in excel
• Should be aware about programming concepts.
• Good analytical skills
• Ability to perform descriptive and predictive analysis.
• Should have hand on experience on visualization or reporting tool: SSRS, Tableau, Domo, Power BI etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Presentation Skills
• Strong mind who can understand complex schemas and can handle big data tables.
• Good Thinker and Quick learner
• Willingness to work flexible/international hours as needed
• Must work effectively with autonomy as well as within a team environment
