Summary
- Work with Management in prioritizing business problems with impact analysis.
- Interact with Amazon Web Services Redshift database to acquire data.
- Write generic SQL statements and optimize complex in-application statements
- Develop data processing/cleansing workflows using Alteryx as needed to perform downstream analysis.
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide meaningful insights.
- Build Tableau reports based on stakeholder input and feedback
- Provide subject matter expertise on table and field formatting structures to enable higher performance of work flows, reports built on Tableau.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders in addressing project needs.
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities across projects being carried.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engg, Statistics, Operations Research or other quantitative field and Advanced Degree (Certificate) in Data Sciences.
- Min 5 to 8 years of proven experience as Data Analyst in performing descriptive analytics.
- Strong proficiency in Statistics, Stochastic and Machine-learning methods and Time series analysis.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Alteryx (any other ETL tool) and TABLEAU visualization
- General awareness on application of Industrial Machinery such as Compressors, Refrigerators, IC engines etc.
- Work location - Bangalore
- Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
- Strong desire to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to work in multi-task and manage multiple priorities
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with a strong attention to detail
- Should be independent in managing the projects
- Effectively manage analysis artefacts on GIT
