Role & Key Responsibilities

• Strategic development
• Assist Global Head of Data Analytics in the development of Apex comprehensive and effective Data Strategy
• Identify and implement, in conjunction with the IT department, core (and any ongoing) changes needed to the database structure to support this strategy
• Data processing
• Support the analysis, interpretation, reporting and presentation of data
• Document current systems, solutions, and processes that are designed to meet current business requirements and extend the functionality of existing applications.
• Improve reporting processes, both in quality and in lead time
• Process & solutions development
• Design new tools and processes to enable better data modeling, analysis, and experimentation
• Develop technical solutions to meet the key business objectives, leveraging advanced BI tools such as Alteryx, Power BI and Tableau
• Build models, simulation, scalable and automated analytical systems
• Lead and collaborate with experts from across the company to advance data science best practices
• Educate and train others on modern applications of data science techniques
• Learn how to build and sustain engagement from all levels of an organization
• Design, develop, validate, and implement data extraction, data transformation and load processes (ETL) following established architectural and governance standards

• IT degree
• Excellent knowledge of data management and data architecture
• Strong problem solving and analytic skills
• Results-driven and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
• Self-starter able to use own initiative
• Good organizational skills with the ability to manage several tasks and shifting priorities concurrently to meet deadlines
• Team player with a positive can-do attitude; energetic and proactive
• Ability to communicate and align across different business functions and levels
• Strong attention to detail with a passion for quality
• Knowledge of the financial sector
• Enhanced Data Experience
• Experience in ETL, SSIS, SSRS, SQL, Alteryx, REST APIs, Python data modelling and data visualization.
• Hands-on skills and experience in Alteryx Designer, Alteryx Server and experience in development of workflows using Alteryx.
• Good understanding of testing phase, software change management, and software release management
• Experience in data warehouse architecture development and management
• Proficiency in dimensional Modelling techniques and their applications
• Experience in functional design of BI and analytics solutions.
• Knowledge of reporting platforms
• Power BI
