Job Description - Eaton India Innovation Center’s (EIIC)– PM Excellence team has an opening for Associate Data Analyst position. - This role will work primarily on designing and developing various user-specific dashboards, analyzing the data, and displaying the results. - The incumbent will have the ability to work independently with a cross-functional team to capture the database-related requirements and provide the optimal solutions by using various data visualization tools. - Work with the various internal and external customers of the data and dashboards to develop a detailed list of the required information. Compare the list across customers identifying unique and similar data requirements. - Organize & assemble information from diverse data sources in such a manner that the data aggregation is easily replicable and maintainable. - Proficiently identify and apply the appropriate data analytics algorithm and come up with recommendations based on the insights generated. - Report out results in the form of various dashboards reporting measurement against targets, historical data trends, and data snapshots supporting the end customers' data requirements. - Strategizes new uses for data and its interaction with data design. - Manage multiple projects and deliver results on time and with the requisite quality - Strive to get internally and externally recognized in this area by continuously learning and developing new algorithms in the data science space.

Qualifications

Technical Knowledge: - bachelors in computer or Electrical Engineering. Exposure to data visualization techniques and tools i.e. Qlikview, Power BI, etc - Programming experience (VBA, R/Python) and a passion to develop new algorithms are preferred. - Computer Skills – MS Office, MS Project, knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system. - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Soft Skills - Ability to work with global teams to drive & communicate results appropriately. - Good communication and presentation skills – both verbal and written - Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently - Problem-solving, creativity, technical learning, and Process Management. - Foundational leadership skills along with an awareness of the latest trends in the area of data analytics. - Ability to challenge the status quo to drive data-driven decisions. - Knowledge of Eaton products and their applications.
