Job Summary:

The Data Analyst position will Interpret and analyze large and varied amounts of complex data to provide the accessible, meaningful and understandable information for a broad spectrum of users. The candidate should be highly skilled in all aspects of data analytics, including mining, generation, and visualization.

Major Responsibilities

• Developing complex data analysis, methodologies, and predictive data models for assessing outcomes.
• Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction.
• Proficiently use statistical programming software such as STATA, Python, SPSS, R, SAS (Python preferred) to create statistical, regression, and econometric models.
• Generate statistical models and advanced code for conducting analysis. Analyzing data using statistical techniques and providing reports.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research and use mixed-method approaches to data analysis.
• Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis integrating various reporting components from multiple data sources. (PowerBI).
• Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, developing and maintaining protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data.
• Develop machine learning model to solve the business problem.
• Writing conclusions and business recommendations/valuable insights based on findings.

Qualifications

• Should have a minimum of 4 years of experience as a data analyst or relevant area.
• Advance knowledge of Python or R language.
• Expert in analytics methodologies i.e. Regression, Prediction, EDA etc.
• Technical proficiency regarding database design development, data models, techniques for data mining, and segmentation.
• Ability to write comprehensive reports, conclusions and business recommendations/insights based on various analysis methods.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving.
• Knowledge of Machine learning and Data Science is an added advantage.
• Graduate in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics.
