Job Purpose:
The primary responsibility of this role is to serve as the Lead BA & Functional SME in a portfolio portfolio. The lead BA is expected to practice business analysis techniques, Collaborate with Business and lead the initiatives that will be in line with the Roadmap.

Lead BA to have (or gain/learn) the required domain understanding to effectively interact with the Product owner, understand business needs and be able to recommend solutions.

The Lead BA will work alongside Product Owner, Business users, Project Managers and core IT team in maintaining Product backlogs, initiate regular refinements to align with changing needs & share updates to the management. Some of the core expectation from this role will be managing global stakeholder’s expectation, drive solution discussions, manage end to end backlogs, lead project teams to drive predictable delivery, resolve users queries, deliver trainings to the end users at various levels of user/business community and own change management initiatives to certain extent.

Minimum Qualifications/Skills (Must to have skills):

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Economics/Accounting, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of overall experience with minimum of 5 years BA experience
• Expertise in Core and Advance Business Analysis Skills
• Agile project experience & knowledge of VSTS
• Hands-on experience leading business analysis activities in IT projects
• Ability to communicate concisely and clearly
• Strong Stakeholder engagement skills
• Good leadership, presentation and communication skills.  

Preferred Qualifications/skills (nice to have skills):

• Masters degree or equivalent practical experience
• Finance domain knowledge
• Certified Scrum Master
• Data reporting, analysis and visualization
• Understanding of strengths and challenges of newer technologies
• CBAP Certification
• Hands-on experience leading solution architecture and systems integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead End-to-End Project Delivery from BA perspective, contribute in defining the objectives and goals of the project and determine the success criteria
• Partner with the business focals in understanding the requirements, evaluate areas that requires improvements, suggest feasible solutions & ensuring value driven functionalities are prioritized
• Leading stakeholder management activities & Creates opportunities to make the stakeholder feel valued and develop trust.
• Connect with business users on detailed requirement gathering, translate the high-level requirements in the form of RTM and elaborate precisely  
• To be able to manage scrum ceremonies, backlogs, their priorities & readiness to ensure smooth development and delivery of the product
• Lead the demo sessions to showcase the functionalities/features developed to the Business/customer team and incorporate their feedback jointly with the Project team to deliver value.
• Create Test scripts from the functional aspect & execute testing. To also review/feedback the System Integration test scripts
• Responsible to brief the UAT strategy and Plan to the business testers, Act as a focal during UAT period in managing users’ queries/fixes/retests
• Plays a key role in ensuring the documentation is up to date
• Handle trainings to end users by creating the pack, delivering the training and supporting business to embrace changes seamlessly
• Ensure smooth handover to the Support team upon Production deployments
• Ability to plan and schedule work competently and manage the overall projects team’s assignments.
• To be able to Contribute to the Overall Projects Benefit realization and Value statements to give clear visibility to the management on the accomplishments delivered by the project
• To be able to contribute to embedding Agile in delivering the projects & structured Backlog management
• Organize and manage project teams to drive predictable delivery
