• Support the development of Power BI dashboards & data models
• Prepare business cases for improvement projects - establishing baseline and measuring improvements.
• Develop data model to monitor raw materials and other informations and their impact on GEA
• Develop a consolidated overview of ongoing customer projects in GEA
• Data cleanup in preparation for the deployment of a database.

Projects are managed following basic agile principles,

• Minimum Viable Products (MVP) defined early with a strong (internal) customer focus and business impact
• Short sprints with frequent follow-ups and deliveries to the business

Responsibilities / Tasks

Data Engineer is part of a team based in India that (mainly but not limited to) supports the COO Excellence team. The excellence team in India is working for:

• Creation of workflow, charts, reports, and Dashboards in Power BI
• Assisting in data modelling to analyze, prepare and maintain the data model
• Assists end users with troubleshooting technical issues, conducting queries and retrieving data from current business systems
• Coordination with Global supply chain, category manager, sourcing desk and Procurement excellence team globally to improve existing dashboards
• Works on to complete defined projects in the procurement excellence pipeline.
• Facilitate the sharing of best practices across the procurement organization.
• Committed to course of action to achieve goals and deliverables according to the project pipeline.

Your Profile / Qualifications

Your Profile / Qualifications:

You hold bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, industrial manufacturing, or management with having 4 to 6 years of experience.

• Professional experience on Power BI and the Power Platforms from Microsoft.
• Working knowledge of data modeling and how to extract, transform & load data (ETL)
• Driving analytics based on data across entities and cultures to support excellence projects
• Experience in Agile project management methods will be added advantage
• Able to work with SQL, Python, R language.
• Takes on tough challenges with sense of ownership. Approach works individually and in teams with optimism and solution-oriented Agile mindset.
• Cross Culture Intelligence. This position requires working effectively with multiple cultures around the world.
• Fluent in English (Verbal and written)
